>>Titans Trade Up Update

(Nashville, TN)  —  More clarification is being given to the Titans potentially trading up to the third overall pick in this month’s draft.  ESPN reports an AFC executive said “everyone” outside of the Titans organization believes they will trade up, but no one within Tennessee has said they intend to “yet.”  Adam Schefter reported earlier in the week at least six teams have asked the Cardinals about trading the third pick.  The Titans are slotted at number-11 in the draft, which takes place on April 27th.

>Report: Washington Commanders Sold To Josh Harris

(Undated)  —  Commanders fans are rejoicing.  Washington’s owners Dan and Tanya Snyder have reached a preliminary nonexclusive agreement to sell the franchise to a group led by Josh Harris.  According to ESPN, the team is being purchased for a record 6.05-billion-dollars.

>>Grizzlies Gear Up For Lakers

(Memphis, TN)  —  The Grizzlies are gearing up for their first-round playoff matchup against the Lakers.  The team will host LA in Game One Sunday afternoon and Game Two Wednesday night.  The Grizz will then hit the road for games three and four next Saturday and the following Monday.

>>Predators Edge Wild In OT

(Nashville, TN)  —  The Predators edged the Wild 4-3 in overtime from Nashville.  The score was tied at three heading into the extra period until Juuso Parssinen lit the lamp to end the game.  Mark Jankowski, Kiefer Sherwood and Yakov Trenin also scored for the Preds.  Nashville wraps up the regular season with another home game against the Avalanche tonight.

 

>>Nashville Predators To Auction Off Jerseys For Covenant School Fundraiser

(Nashville, TN) — Meanwhile, Predators are auctioning off autographed jerseys to support those impacted by the Covenant School shooting.  The uniforms feature Covenant patches and will be worn in the team’s season finale against the Avalanche.  Proceeds will go to the Caring for Covenant Fund, Daystar Counseling Ministries, and Metro first responders.  A page to auction off the jerseys has been set up through give-smart-dot-com.

 

>>Viktor Hovland Leading RBC Heritage

(Hilton Head Island, SC)  —  Viktor Hovland is the current leader at the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina.  Hovland finished the day with a seven under 64 as the first round was suspended due to darkness.  Three players are tied for second place at six under par.  Brain Harman shot a 65 in the opening round, while Jimmy Walker is six under through 16 holes and Aaron Rai is six under through 15.  Round one will resume at 8 AM Eastern.  The second round will begin as scheduled at seven in the morning.
