Cayce’s Pharmacy sold to Walgreens, will close April 18

After 42 years of operation in Hopkinsville, Cayce’s Pharmacy has been sold to Walgreens and will close both of its locations April 18.

Store officials confirmed the buyout Wednesday, saying customers will need to contact Walgreens regarding their prescriptions after Tuesday of next week.

Cayce’s Pharmacy opened in 1981 and was sold to Value RX Pharmacy in 2016.

They have locations on West Seventh Street and on the Eagle Way Bypass.

Walgreens has one store in Christian County on Fort Campbell Boulevard across from Skyline Drive in Hopkinsville.
