Christian County School System Superintendent Chris Bentzel says all of their recently-purchased weapons detection devices will be installed at the high schools by the end of the week and they are hopeful to put the new high school construction project out to bid as soon as next month.
Appearing on WHOP Tuesday morning, Bentzel said those weapons detection devices were set to be delivered Wednesday.
He says district leadership recently met with their construction manager and the goal is to put the consolidated high school project out to bid in May, though there will be several factors to consider before making that decision.
The Christian County High School Agriculture Department’s greenhouse opens for business Wednesday and Bentzel encourages folks to go to that facility at the rear of the school and check it out.
