Hopkinsville police arrested a man on a felony assault charge Friday after he allegedly injured his girlfriend under the Little River Bridge on North Virginia Street.
The arrest citation for 29-year old Dustin Rosario of the city at large says he struck his 21-year old girlfriend with multiple objects, causing a head injury and pain all over her body.
Rosario blamed the incident that happened about 10:45 a.m. on a ‘night terror,’ according to the report.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
