On Monday, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will begin asphalt work on the Walnut Street Bridge in Hopkinsville.
According to Hopkinsville Public Works, operations will run until complete—weather permitting—and motorists are urged to use appropriate caution in the area and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
Residents and business owners that park in the area are also asked to move their vehicles to accommodate that equipment.
