(Undated) — UConn is celebrating a fifth national championship atop the final college basketball coaches poll. The Huskies claimed all 32 first-place votes after topping San Diego State in the championship game. The Aztecs are second after finishing the season 32-and-7. The Miami Hurricanes close out the year as the third team in the nation, while Alabama and Florida Atlantic round out the top five. Michigan State was joined by Arkansas as the only two schools to appear in the top 25 after not being included in the previous poll. Tennessee is ranked 16th.

(Nashville, TN) — The Titans will take a wide receiver with their first-round pick in this month’s draft. That’s according to ESPN’s Todd McShay, who has the team selecting Ohio State’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba [[ in-JIG-ba ]] with the 11th overall pick. He says, “There’s no arguing that Tennessee needs playmakers, even after selecting Treylon Burks last year.” McShay also has the team taking Arkansas pass rusher Drew Sanders at number-41. The draft starts on April 27th.

(Nashville, TN) — The Predators edged the Golden Knights 3-2 in overtime from Nashville. The team trails the Jets by three points for the last Wild Card spot in the West. The Predators have five games left to play and will host the Hurricanes tomorrow night.

(Augusta, GA) — Tiger Woods says he doesn’t know how many Masters golf tournaments he has left in him. Speaking to reporters in Augusta, Woods said he knows more guys on the Champions Tour, which is for seniors, than on the regular tour. The golf legend said the overall desire to win has always been there and he always beleives in what he could do. The 47-year-old said although his game is limited, he feels better than he did last year at The Masters. This comes after he suffered serious injuries to his legs in a car crash in 2021. Woods will be in the field when The Masters tees off on Thursday.
