A Tornado Watch has been issued for western Kentucky until 4 p.m., as the region remains under an enhanced risk for severe weather today.
Meteorologist Justin Gibbs with the National Weather Service in Paducah says while a tornado isn’t out of the question this afternoon, damaging winds associated with that line of storms are the most likely threat.
A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 p.m., as sustained winds up to 25 mph and gusts as high as 40 mph will be possible outside of thunderstorms.
