Hopkinsville’s WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt is coming up Friday night at Tie Breaker Park and organizers are hoping the transition to a nighttime event will put some extra excitement in the celebration.
Pam Rudd with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says it begins at 7:30 Friday night for youth walking to 8 years old and she encourages those youngsters to bring a flash light.
In addition to the $98.70 grand prize, Junior Auxiliary is again partnering to provide additional age-appropriate prizes.
Rudd urges everyone to get there early to get registered and in placed to start the egg hunt promptly.
Another change is this year the drawing for the $98.70 will be at about 7:15, just before the egg hunt begins.
