Kentucky Guard Declares For Draft

(Lexington, KY) —  A week after Kentucky lost one of its guards to the transfer portal, another basketball player is now declaring for the NBA draft.  Cason Wallace announced over the weekend he’ll forgo his remaining college eligibility and head into the 2023 NBA draft in late June.  In an interview with ESPN, the guard said, “NBA teams saw that I’m not going to back down.  I’m going to get stronger, faster and quicker in the pre-draft process.”  Wallace is a projected lottery pick and ESPN ranks him as the 10th best prospect in the 2023 class.
