There appears to be a significant risk for severe weather Friday afternoon and evening in western Kentucky.
The Pennyrile region is under an enhanced risk of severe weather, while far western Kentucky is under a moderate risk.
Damaging winds, tornadoes and large hail will all be possible with storms that develop and storms will be most likely in Trigg, Christian and Todd counties between 4 p.m. and midnight, according to the National Weather Service in Paducah.
Flash flooding is also not out of the question, with heavy rain likely to accompany storms that develop and some communities could see multiple rounds.
