Rotary Auction returns to War Memorial Building in about three weeks

The Rotary Club of Hopkinsville will soon take over the War Memorial Building downtown, as we are roughly three weeks away from the 73rd Rotary Radio Auction.

Auction Chair Brandon Killebrew says that week will be full to the brim with auction, activities and enough food you could eat something different every day.  The Big Board is filling up and he says it’ll be an action packed week, but you can also donate to their Hour Club program—a donation of $182 pays for an hour of post-secondary education.

He says there will be a focus on the history of the club and how its made an impact on the community, so they’ll be bringing back the Goat Club, with historian William Turner helming that endeavor.

Killebrew says they’ve purchased a new grill, and now they can get more food out the door faster than ever—particularly Boston Butts.

The auction returns April 17 through the 22 and carries the theme of “Making An Impact”, highlighting the contributions of the Rotary Club in the community in the past, present and future.
