Milling, paving work set to start on three roads in Trigg County

There will be paving work happening in Trigg County starting on Friday, so motorists should stay aware while traveling in those sections of Cerulean Road, Rockcastle Road and Barefield Road.

That’s according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, which states there will be work zone lane restrictions to allow for milling and asphalt paving. It will take place on Cerulean Road from White Road towards Guinn Road for roughly five miles, then on Rockcastle Road from Beach Bend Drive northward to the Little River Bridge—on Barefield Road work will start from KY 958 and extend to just south of the KY 128 intersection.

Milling is expected to start at these locations on March 31 with asphalt paving to start around April 3.

Milling and paving along KY 124 and KY 274 will take about 3 weeks to complete and the work on KY 1507 is expected to take a week to complete, weather permitting.
