Just over 1,200 people entered the SportsPlex Friday night and Saturday for the 13th annual Hopkinsville International Festival.
The event featured live music and dancing, crafts for kids and booths and vendors representing numerous cultures from around the world.
Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman says it was exciting to be back in person after the last two years were made virtual by the pandemic.
Students at MLK Elementary and Hopkinsville Middle School got a special preview of the festival Friday.
Brockman is hoping to see the International Festival grow in the future.
Several local organizations, including the Human Rights Commission, were also on hand for the festival.
