Four Teams Advance To Elite Eight In NCAA Tournament

(Undated)  —  Four teams are moving on to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.  Third-seeded Kansas State fended off seventh-seeded Michigan State 98-93 in an overtime thriller at Madison Square Garden.  Markquis Nowell set a tournament record with 19 assists in the victory.  Elsewhere, fourth-seeded UConn crushed eighth-seeded Arkansas 88-65 to continue its dominant run.  Ninth-seeded Florida Atlantic kept its season alive with a 62-55 upset win over fourth-seeded Tennessee.  The Owls advanced to their first ever Elite Eight.  Third-seeded Gonzaga stunned second-seeded UCLA 79-76 on a game-winning three-pointer from Julian Strawther.  The Sweet 16 continues today with four more teams earning a trip to the Elite Eight.
