An investigation by Hopkinsville police Wednesday morning on Mooreland Drive led to the arrest of a man on a felony assault charge.
An arrest citation for 18-year old Demond Lemon of Hopkinsville alleges he used a razor to cut the arm of a 28-year old male victim during an altercation at about 7 a.m. in the 100 block of Mooreland.
Lemon was charged with second-degree assault and had a promoting contraband count added when he allegedly took marijuana into the Christian County Jail.
The assault victim’s injuries are described as minor on the incident report.
