The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Hopkinsville man with sex crimes against a child under the age of 12.
According to a news release, the arrest of 63-year-old Ricky Thomas of Hopkinsville took place following a three-month investigation. Thomas is alleged to have engaged in unlawful sexual acts with the victim, a child under the age of 12, on at least three occasions between February 2020 until February of 2021.
The victim was also reportedly exposed to explicit websites and videos during the same time frame.
Thomas was arrested and charged with first-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse.
