The Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2023 pageant was held recently, and featured several local young women as they competed for the crown.
One of those was Miss Trenton, Sidney Allen of Todd County, who was named Miss Congeniality of the 2023 competition. Miss Congeniality is an award given to the friendliest contestant as determined by a vote among the contestants—arguably the toughest judges of all. Joining her in the pageant locally was Miss Hopkinsville, Emily Dilday, Miss Cadiz Shelby Mohon and Miss Hopkins County Carmon Todd.
For the teens’ division, 16-year-old MeShyia Bradshaw of Hardin County was crowned Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2023 and will go to Miss Teen USA 2023.
The competitors each had to complete an interview and be judged wearing both evening gowns and active wear.
