Details have been released about the rear-end collision on Cadiz Road from Wednesday morning that sent two people to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
According to the collision report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by Clarence King was heading east on Cadiz Road near Everett Lane when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was hauling grain. King says the sun was in his eyes and he never saw the semi until impact.
The tractor-trailer, driven by Ivan Boyd, had pulled off of Everett Lane onto Cadiz Road and was gaining speed when the collision occurred.
Both King and Boyd were taken to Jennie Stuart for treatment of injuries. Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
