Four injured in single-vehicle crash on Greenville Road

One person was flown to a Nashville hospital and three others went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a crash on Greenville Road Thursday.

The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. in the 5000 block of Greenville Road and Christian County Sheriff’s Major Jason Newby says a vehicle was traveling northbound when the front passenger reached to get something from the driver’s hand and hit the steering wheel. This reportedly caused the vehicle to fish tail and then go off the road, where it struck embankment, causing it to overturn.

Another passenger in the back seat, a female victim, was ejected from the vehicle. All four occupants of the vehicle were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where the one who was ejected was then flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.

All injuries appeared non-life threatening, according to Major Newby.
