A warmup is expected after a relatively cold start to the week, and then things will likely cool down again for the weekend.
Meteorologist David Humphrey with the National Weather Service in Paducah said during Monday’s weekly conference call that lows will likely be in the mid-to-upper 20’s each morning through mid-week, temperatures will then feel more spring-like and then a cold front brings rain and another cooldown.
The long range outlook is again showing cooler and wetter than normal weather.
There is no mention of severe weather or flooding in the forecast.
