The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of U.S. 68-Business in Cadiz on Monday and Tuesday.
According to a news release, U.S. 68-Buisiness will be closed to through traffic in the Rainbow Hill area between Rockcastle Road near the one mile marker and South Road near the two mile marker to allow damaged trees and debris from recent high winds to be removed along the right-of-way.
The roadway at this site will be closed starting at approximately 8 a.m. each day, immediately after the morning school bus run and will remain closed at this site until about 2 p.m., each day.
There will be no marked detour. This project is scheduled on a weather-permitting basis.
