(Cincinnati, OH) — A Bengals tight end is potentially changing his stripes to join a crosstown rival. Jared Mueller with Dogs by Nature reports Hayden Hurst is a target for the Browns this offseason. Hurst caught 52 passes for 414 and two touchdowns last year and grabbed 13 balls in the postseason. Mueller also said Cleveland’s interest Jessie Bates the Third, “is real, but Bates is hoping for a contract that blows people away.”

ESPN reports Jeffery Simmons and the team, “have had discussions about a long-term deal.” The Pro Bowler is going into his fifth-year option which will pay him just over 10-and-a-half million dollars. Simmons had 54 tackles and seven-and-a-half sacks last season.
