A man was shot to death Sunday morning in Oak Grove and a suspect has been arrested.
The Christian County Coroner’s Office identifies the victim as 43-year old Dante Dewayne Welch of Oak Grove.
The Oak Grove Police Department investigated and arrested 60-year old Rodolfo “Rudy” Amaya of Oak Grove for murder and wanton endangerment.
An arrest citation says Amaya allegedly shot Welch about 11:20 a.m. while he was inside his vehicle in the driveway of a New Gritton Avenue home with a toddler also inside the car.
A witness reported seeing the incident occur and the suspected murder weapon was found in Amaya’s home, according to the report.
