Two Tennessee residents facing charges for Guthrie trailer theft

Two Tennessee residents are facing felony charges for a recent theft of a trailer in Guthrie.

A short pursuit by deputies  in Robertson County, Tennessee ended with an SUV becoming stuck in a field.

A Guthrie police report says 33-year old William Cory Harris of Cedar Hill fled the scene and 35-year old Heather Gamel of Charlotte, Tennessee remained at the vehicle.

Investigation by both agencies determined the trailer they were pulling had been stolen from a location on Fairgrounds Road and Guthrie police returned it to its owner.

Both suspects are jailed in Tennessee, awaiting extradition back to Kentucky for one count each of felony theft.
