A man was flown to a Nashville hospital after he was hit by a UTV Monday morning in Todd County.
Sheriff Tracy White says Lewis Shemwell of Sharon Grove was working near a barn in the 200 block of J. Johnson Road about 8:30 a.m. when another man driving a Polaris side-by-side accidentally struck him and pinned him between the barn and vehicle.
Shemwell sustained a possible broken leg and arm and was taken by EMS to an Air Evac helicopter and flown to a Nashville hospital.
Todd County Emergency Management and the Todd County Rescue Squad also responded.
