After a windy start to the week, heavy rain and more wind are expected to arrive in western Kentucky later this week.
Meteorologist Chris Noles with the National Weather Service in Paducah says we’ll get a couple days off from the wind and rain, but a stormy pattern arrives mid-week.
He says two to three inches of rain is expected to fall across the region Wednesday night through Friday, which could cause some issues with standing water.
Expect a wind advisory again Friday, with gusts likely to reach as high as 50 mph.
There is no mention of winter weather in the forecast as we enter March.
