Two children were injured in a single-vehicle accident Saturday night on Walnut Street in Hopkinsville.
Hopkinsville police investigated and determined 30-year old Kasey Norwood of Hopkinsville had been northbound crossing from Fort Campbell Boulevard onto Walnut Street when she said a dog walked into her path and she swerved.
Norwood over-corrected and her car struck a pole.
Two girls—ages 10 and 15—were unrestrained and were taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.
