Week 4 of the Kentucky General Assembly has concluded and legislation that would prevent law enforcement in Kentucky from enforcing federal firearms bills has passed the house.
Representative Walker Thomas of Hopkinsville says he supports House Bill 153.
Representative Myron Dossett believes any firearm ban that could be instituted by the federal government would be unconstitutional and he also supported the measure.
Meanwhile, state Senator Whitney Westerfield is pleased his online consumer privacy bill received unanimous approval in committee this week and he’s working to get the support necessary to bring it to the Senate floor.
