Hopkinsville 56 Christian County 64—(OT)–8th District Championship
Both teams playing elite defense and taking advantage of each other’s mistakes this game lived up to the hype. A 24-23 Colonel lead at the half evaporated in the final seconds of the fourth quarter as they missed back to back front end of one and ones to allow Hoptown to make back to back threes, and tie it at 53 all to end regulation. County turned around and went 9 of 10 from the charity stripe to seal the victory however.
