Grace and Mercy graduates nine, raises $134,000

Grace and Mercy raised $134,000 and graduated nine women from its faith-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation program Thursday night at New Work Fellowship.

A large crowd gathered for the eight annual graduation and fundraiser and Director Joanna Mack celebrated the women who can now begin to rejoin their family and friends without addiction to drugs or alcohol.

Many of the women at Grace and Mercy talked about those addictions and how the program has given them hope of a better tomorrow.

That was the vision when Carolyn Self was an original board member when Grace and Mercy was founded a little less than a decade ago and she says the success rate of Grace and Mercy is much higher than the average rehabilitation program.

Grace and Mercy has a goal of $180,000 and you can still give at their website, graceandmercyky.org.
