>>Titans Release Key Players

(Nashville, TN)  — The Titans are releasing several key players.  Tennessee announced on Wednesday that Taylor Lewan, Robert Woods, Zach Cunningham and Randy Bullock were all cut due to salary cap issues.  Lewan was drafted by the Titans in round one of the 2014 draft and started one-hundred games for the team.  The left tackle made three Pro Bowls and was the longest tenured player on the roster.  Woods caught 53 passes for 527 yards and two touchdowns last season.  The receiver was coming off a torn ACL he suffered in the Fall of 2021.  The Titans saved nearly 38-million dollars in cap space with the moves.
