An Elkton woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning at US 68 and Pond River Road in Todd County.
Elkton Police Captain Jakop Smith investigated and says 26-year old Jasmine Belew of Elkton was southbound on Pond River Road about 7:40 a.m. when she drover her SUV into the path of an eastbound utility truck on US 68 operated by 52-year old Ronnie Purcell of Dawson Springs.
Their vehicles collided and Belew was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
Purcell and his passenger were not injured.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office, Todd County Rescue Squad, Emergency Management and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet assisted at the scene.
