Traffic stop in Todd County leads to arrest on drug, gun charges

A traffic stop early Monday morning in Todd County led to the arrest of a Tennessee man for drug and gun charges.

Deputy Derrick Bauman stopped 28-year old Dominic Pierre of Adams, Tennessee for a moving violation at the intersection of US 79 and Penchem Road and a news release says there was an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Investigation led to Pierre being arrested for DUI, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, receiving a stolen firearm, being a fugitive from another state and several other charges.

The Guthrie Police Department assisted in the investigation.
