A Princeton man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Thursday night on Hopkinsville Street in Princeton.
It happened about 7:45 p.m., with Princeton police saying 38-year old Jeffery Maloney of Princeton was westbound when his car went off the right side of the road for unknown reasons and struck an embankment.
The car then overturned and struck a tree near 1005 Hopkinsville Street.
Maloney was not wearing a seat belt and he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Caldwell County coroner.
