Guthrie woman charged with felony theft in Madisonville

A Guthrie woman has been charged with felony theft in Madisonville after she allegedly stole money from the Madisonville AT&T store.

According to a news release from the Madisonville Police Department, an AT&T area sales manager reported the theft of approximately $25,000 from the AT&T store in Madisonville. During the course of the investigation, the manager of the store—33-year-old Katie Convington of Guthrie—was interviewed and allegedly admitted to stealing at least $10,000 from the store over a two month time period.

Convington was arrested and charged with felony theft.
