The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Southern and eastern Arkansas Extreme southern Illinois Western Kentucky Extreme southeastern Missouri Northwestern Mississippi Western Tennessee * Effective this Thursday morning from 450 AM until NOON CST. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Areas of strong-severe thunderstorms should move northeastward to eastward across the watch area through the remainder of the morning, offering damaging gusts, isolated large hail, and the threat of a few tornadoes. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 90 statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles west southwest of Monticello AR to 15 miles east northeast of Paducah KY.
