Two arrested for fatal shooting in Clarksville

Clarksville police have arrested two suspects for a fatal shooting Saturday morning at the Dodge’s Store on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

The victim has been identified as 29-year old Jarlen Corbin of Clarksville, who was shot shortly before 5 a.m. and taken to Tennova Health, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Two other men—28-year-old Maleike Hamlin and 21-year-old Otis Barnes, both of Clarksville—were injured in the shooting and went first to Tennova by private vehicle and then were transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Clarksville police say Hamlin and Barnes were treated and released and then arrested and booked in the Montgomery County Jail on homicide charges.

A news release says the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
