Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library Executive Director DeeAnna Sova has resigned that position and an interim director has been appointed.
Sova is leaving for a position at Ascend Elements, according to a news release, which says Operations Director Tiffany Luna has been appointed interim executive director, effective February 1.
Luna has been at the library for six years and also has experience servicing as youth services librarian.
Bart Cayce is the library board chair and says, “We thank DeeAnna for her leadership and years of service. She has been a force for change and the evolution of how our library engages and communicates with our patrons. Knowing that every strong leader has a great team behind them, we are confident that Tiffany and the entire library team will continue to move us forward during this transition.”
