Kentucky’s December unemployment rate was unchanged from November, but down from a year ago.
The number remained at an even 4 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics, an agency within the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet.
It was down six tenths of a point from the 4.6 percent recorded for the state one year ago.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for December was 3.5 percent, which was down a tenth from November, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
