Rotary hears of upcoming events, plans to expand at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center

Jeffers’ Bend Environmental Center is a nature refuge located right in Hopkinsville, and they offer events and slew of a nature amenities while looking to expand those services in the future.

He says that’s just part of what they do—they also offer many events, from Take Kids Fishing Day to a humming bird festival to Naturefest, to Christmas at the Bend.

Turner says Jeffers Bend has always been blessed by a generous community and they’re always accepting of donations, especially as they look expand and renovate some gardens and extend youth programs in the future.
