A federal grand jury has indicted a Madisonville man for child porn charges.
Officials say 45-year old Steven Ray Buchanan of Madisonville is charged with four counts of production of child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
He will make an initial court appearance on a later date before a U. S. Magistrate Judge of the U. S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky in Owensboro. Buchanan faces a minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum sentence of 140 years in prison.
This case is being investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
