(Undated)  — Memphis fell to UCF 107-104 in double-overtime.  The Tigers dropped to 12-and-5 and will head to Temple on Sunday.  Kentucky recently fell to South Carolina.  The Wildcats dropped to 10-and-6 and will head to Knoxville to play fifth-ranked Tennessee Saturday afternoon.  The Vols cruised to victory in their last game against Vanderbilt.  Tennessee is now 14-and-2.  The Commodores dropped to 8-and-8 and will host Number-16 Arkansas on Saturday.

Kentucky Hosts No. 1/1 South Carolina on Fandemonium Night

Just three teams remain undefeated in college women’s basketball and Kentucky will face two of those teams in back-to-back games. The University of Kentucky women’s basketball program will play host to No. 1/1 South Carolina on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. ET inside Memorial Coliseum on SEC Network+. The Wildcats will meet their third ranked opponent in the last three games when they host the top-ranked Gamecocks, a stretch that includes their second straight top-10 opponent. The Wildcats, who are 8-8 this season and 0-4 in the league, are still looking for their first conference win.

RV/RV Cardinals Prepare for Road Clash with #13/13 Hokies

The RV/RV Louisville women’s basketball team is heading back on the road as a Top-25 matchup awaits in Blacksburg. The Cardinals (13-5, 4-1) are set to face the 13th-ranked Hokies (13-3, 3-3) on Thursday from Cassell Coliseum. The two teams will square off at 7 p.m. ET and it will be streamed on the ACC Network Extra. Louisville is coming off a 2-0 home week where it defeated Georgia Tech and Pitt. The Cardinals improved to 4-1 in the ACC this season and are a half game behind first place Duke, who is 4-0 to begin conference play.

Cardinals Drop Road Matchup at ACC-Leading Clemson

Louisville men’s basketball fought back again from a double-digit deficit in the second half Wednesday, but couldn’t get over the hump in an 83-70 loss at Clemson. The Cardinals (2-15, 0-6 ACC) trailed by as much as 17 early in the second half, then climbed back within six on multiple occasions in the final minutes. Clemson (14-3, 6-0), which holds sole possession of first place in the league, stayed on top by shooting 52.8% from the field and making 19 of 23 free throws. They’ll host North Carolina on Saturday.

Hilltoppers Overcome Adversities in Key Conference Road Win

From the jump on Wednesday night, WKU Hilltopper Basketball faced challenge after challenge. The Hilltoppers battled for all 40 minutes, overcoming that adversity and beating the league favorite UAB Blazers on their own court, 80-78.

Lady Toppers Comeback from Double Digit Deficit for 75-71 Win Against UAB

WKU women’s basketball (6-8, 3-2 C-USA) once again rallied back to win after being down double digits in the first half, this time defeating UAB (9-6, 1-5 C-USA), 75-71, after falling behind by 15 after the first quarter. Mya Meredith had a season high 19 points along with four rebounds and three steals. The sophomore was 3-of-6 from the 3-point line. Acacia Hayes had her second straight double-digit game with 14 points. Josie Gilvin finished with nine points, five rebounds and three steals Jaylin Foster had five points, five rebounds and two steals. Hope Sivori added nine points, two rebounds and two steals.

Racers Bounce Back To Rout Belmont

After suffering back-top-back road losses last weekend, the Murray State women’s basketball team defended its home court Wednesday night with a 64-56 win over rival Belmont at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky.

Govs host Gamecocks in battle of top ASUN defenses

Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team hosts Jacksonville State in a battle between the ASUN Conference’s top defenses at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, in the Winfield Dunn Center. Austin Peay (7-6, 2-1 ASUN) has allowed a program-record 56.7 points per game – 3.5 points per game fewer than the current record held by last year’s team – entering Thursday’s game, which is best for second in the ASUN. Meanwhile, Jacksonville State (9-5, 2-1 ASUN) leads the ASUN and is 15th in Division I, allowing 54.2 points per game.

Austin Peay welcomes Lipscomb on Thursday

The Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team hosts Lipscomb at 8 p.m. CT, Thursday, in the last of three-straight ASUN Conference games inside the Winfield Dunn Center.
