Rotary Club announces theme, April dates for this year’s Rotary Auction

The Rotary Club of Hopkinsville is already planning for the next Rotary Radio Auction, and organizers announced the theme and the dates for this year’s auction Tuesday afternoon.

Brandon Killebrew will serve as auction chair this year and he detailed the 73 year history of the auction, including the actions of WHOP Radio, which has put the auction on the air waves since it began and helped play a part in its success.

This year’s theme will be “Making An Impact”—highlighting the growth and success of the auction and the Rotary Club yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Killebrew says he has no fundraising goal in mind, as they plan to do the best they can as they always do, and raise all they can to help local youth.

The auction will take place April 17 through the 22, and Killebrew says they’ll be bringing back all the usual favorites, including the diner, and they’ll be reminding people about the hour club and goat club donations that always help make the auction a rousing success.
