No significant damage or injuries have been reported after numerous tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings overnight and early this morning.
Portions of Christian, Todd and Trigg counties have been under those warnings multiple times since midnight.
Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham reported only a few trees down, including at Cox Mill Road and Pyle Lane. The National Weather Service also received reports of trees down in the Herndon and Princeton Road areas earlier in the morning.
Todd County Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith also had word of a couple trees blown down in the storm. One is on KY 181 near Latham Road and the other in the 7000 block of Allensville Road.
Flash flood warnings have also been issued until 7 a.m. for Christian, Trigg, northern Todd and several adjoining counties as more than three inches of rain has fallen in the last 12 hours or so, with motorists reminded to never attempt to drive through standing water.
William Lile Road just south of Crofton was reported to be covered with water as of about 5 a.m. and several low-lying roads are closed in Trigg County.
Law enforcement in Muhlenberg County reported to the National Weather Service that they made a few water rescues, that water is in a few homes there and numerous roads are closed throughout Muhlenberg County.
