Grand jury returns indictments for wanton endangerment, pursuit charges

The first Christian County Grand Jury of 2023 on Tuesday morning indicted a Clarksville man on wanton endangerment and drug trafficking charges.

The true bill against 32-year old Damarcus Osborne alleges that on August 22 of last year, he threw a bottle of alcohol from his car at the victim’s vehicle while it was moving at approximately 60 mph, striking the driver’s side door and making the victim briefly lose control of his car as he believed he was being shot at.

Hopkinsville police responded to the report of shots fired and found Osborne parked in the lot of T-Rad on Frank Yost Lane. The original report says a bag containing several baggies of marijuana and a jar of the substance were allegedly located behind the front passenger seat, in addition to a digital scale.

Osborne is indicted for two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief.

Meanwhile, the grand jury indicted 33-year old Patrick Boston of Fresno, California for fleeing or evading police, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of a controlled substance.

It alleges that on July 23 of 2021, Boston led the Christian County Sheriff’s Office on a vehicle pursuit for about three miles before wrecking out near Ashwood Village Apartments and he got away on foot.
