Judge Tribble discusses last 29 years, future in hour-long interview

In an hour-long interview that will air in its entirety Sunday morning on 98.7 Lite FM, outgoing Christian County Judge-Executive Steve Tribble reflects over the last 29 years in office and talks about his life going forward.

The accomplishment he’s most proud of over the last three decades is the recent partnership forged with Hopkinsville Electric System Energy Net and Pennyrile Electric to use pandemic relief funds and other grant funds to eventually get fiber internet access to all parts of Christian County.

While his final term is ending with that project well underway, the first term began in January 1994 with an ice storm that caused widespread power outages, followed by heavy snow and bitter cold that caused even more problems at the courthouse.

Judge Tribble reiterates he’s not retiring—he’ll be pursuing another job in the near future to continue serving people in some way.

The full interview will air Sunday morning at 9 o’clock on our weekly public affairs program, Don’t Be Afraid To Say It, on 98.7 Lite FM and online at lite987whop.com.
