Christian County High School Announces Colonel Soccer Coach Resignation

Christian County High School Athletic Director Trey Wheeler, has announced Arne Seeger has resigned from his position as head coach of the Colonels soccer team. Coach Seeger led the Colonels for two years.

“It’s been my honor and privilege to have returned to lead the Christian County Boys Soccer team the last two seasons,” said CCHS Coach Arne Seeger. “At this time, I need to step down as head coach as I have some recurring health issues that need my full attention. The ten-plus years that I have coached at CCHS have been some of the best in my life. The relationships that I have formed are something I will always treasure. I have absolutely loved my time coaching these great young men and I know moving forward this team will accomplish great things.”

“We at Christian County High School appreciate everything Coach Seeger has done,” said Wheeler.  “While we hate to see him step down, we understand that he must do what’s best for him. He has done a great job building a program that will continue to grow for the better for years to come.”

Christian County High School will begin the comprehensive search for a new head coach to lead the Colonel Soccer program in the coming weeks.
