Trenton, Guthrie and Cadiz will all hold their Christmas parades Saturday.
Christmas in Cadiz will feature a full day of activities before the nighttime parade at 6 p.m.
Cadiz United Methodist Church will host a Christmas Bazaar from 9 until 3 and Mrs. Claus will host a cookie and candy bazaar starting at noon at the Cadiz Baptist Church Annex. There will be free ice skating with skates provided at the junk fest lot in west Cadiz from 9 until 3.
There will be ‘magical characters’ including princesses and super heroes on the Renaissance Stage from 4 until 5 and a festival of trees from 4 until 6 at the Janice Mason Art Museum.
After the parade, there will be a Christmas Concert at Lakeland Jamboree.
Meanwhile, Guthrie’s festivities kick off Friday at 4 p.m. with singing around the town’s Christmas tree, lighting of the tree at 5 and a children’s Christmas movie at 5:45 at the Guthrie Senior Citizens Center.
Guthrie’s annual Christmas parade is Saturday morning at 11 and it begins on Norris Street and heads downtown.
There will be more festivities including games, music and a visit from Santa from noon until 3 in Guthrie.
Finally, Trenton’s annual Christmas parade will go through the town on US 41 beginning at Cemetery Street at 4:30 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to stick around and shop at some of the local businesses at its conclusion.
