(Undated)  — Number-17 Tennessee is hoping to improve to 3-and-1 when it tips off against Butler in the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis tonight.  Memphis is 2-and-1 and squares off against Seton Hall in the ESPN Events Invitational tomorrow.  Vanderbilt sits at 2-and-2 after their recent win against Morehead State.  The Commodores also play on Thanksgiving against Saint Mary’s.

Kentucky vs. North Florida

After suffering an 88-72 loss to No. 2 Gonzaga on Sunday, fourth-ranked Kentucky is getting back to basics. The Cats hope to improve, starting with a Wednesday afternoon date against North Florida (4 p.m. ET, SEC Network Plus). Pre-Game at 1:30 on 98.7 Lite FM.

Cards Struggle Offensively in Loss to No. 21/20 Texas Tech

The Louisville men’s basketball team struggled mightily to score Tuesday, falling 70-38 to No. 21/20 Texas Tech in the consolation bracket of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational. The Cardinals (0-5) shot just 22.4% from the field, and a scoring drought of more than 10 minutes across the end of the first half and the beginning of the second half allowed Texas Tech (4-1) to pull away with a 25-0 run.

Louisville, Cincinnati Renew Rivalry in Maui Invitational Finale

The Louisville men’s basketball team wraps up play in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational against Cincinnati at 7:30 p.m. ET Wednesday. Cincinnati has lost three straight games, including losses against Arizona and Ohio State in Maui. The Cardinals and Bearcats, former longtime conference rivals, have played 99 times before – the most of any Louisville opponent, ahead of Memphis (90) – with a 56-43 UofL edge.

Cards’ Matchup with Maryland Set for 7 p.m. on Nov. 29

Tip-off for the Louisville men’s basketball team’s home game against Maryland in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge presented by Continental Tire has been set for 7 p.m. ET Tuesday, Nov. 29 at the KFC Yum! Center. The tip time was previously undetermined pending TV selections. The game will air on ESPN2.

Hot Shooting and Bench Points Lifts Tops to 78-66 Win Over Redbirds

WKU Hilltopper Basketball bounced back in the Cayman Islands Classic with a 78-66 win over the Illinois State Redbirds. WKU shot 51% from the field including a 58.8% mark form the 3-point line. The Hilltoppers netted 10 balls beyond the arc and assisted on 16 of their 26 baskets. Additionally, WKU outscored the Illinois State bench 32-14.

Tulane Slated as WKU’s Final Cayman Islands Classic Opponent

WKU Hilltopper Basketball will play in its final game of the Cayman Islands Classic on Wednesday afternoon as it takes on Tulane in the fifth-place game. Pre-Game at noon on Newsradio 95.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP. Tulane defeated Rhode Island 78-75 to advance through the tournament. WKU is a perfect 5-0 against Tulane, last meeting in 2009 in Bowling Green. Head coach Rick Stansbury is a perfect 3-0 over Tulane.

White Out Dec. 1 – MVC Opener Provides Historic Night For Racers

The Missouri Valley Conference opener for the Murray State men’s basketball team is coming up next Thursday (Dec. 1) and this historic moment for the Racers in their new league home only happens once. The Racers host the Illinois State Redbirds at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky. The tipoff is set for 7 p.m. To commemorate this historic night, a White Out is planned with 5,000 special inaugural MVC first game t-shirts being given out, sponsored by CFSB.

Austin Peay drops Ocean Bracket Championship

Austin Peay State University was outscored 50-32 in the second half of Tuesday’s 79-65 loss to Bucknell in the Ocean Bracket Championship of the Greenlight Sunshine Slam. The Governors’ three-game win streak was snapped. Cameron Copeland scored 15 points to lead five Austin Peay (3-3) players in double figures. Five Governors reached double digits for a second-consecutive day. Jalen Ware and Carlos Paez each scored 12. Ware’s career-high in points came on 5-of-7 shooting and a 2-of-3 clip from beyond the arc. Paez was 6-of-7 from the free throw line. Caleb Stone-Carrawell and Sean Durugordon each pumped in 11 points. Stone-Carrawell was 4-of-8 from the floor. Durugordon grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds for his first-career double-double. Ware pulled down seven boards. Paez dished out three assists.

Gibbs leads fourth-quarter charge in win over Knights

Senior Liz Gibbs scored a team-high 12 points, including a go-ahead three-point play midway through the fourth quarter, to lead Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team to a 53-46 victory against Fairleigh Dickinson at the Hostilo Hoops Community Classic, Tuesday, at Enmark Arena. Despite trailing throughout much of the first three quarters, Austin Peay (3-2) outscored Fairleigh Dickinson (3-2), 25-17 in the last 15 minutes, including 20-12 in the final quarter.
