Balanced Offense and 56 Assists from Emma Grome Deliver UK Win
Four players had double-figure scoring Wednesday night as the No. 18 Kentucky Volleyball team beat Tennessee in four sets, 3-1 as Emma Grome’s 56 assists set the pace for UK on the night in UK’s sixth-straight win. Kentucky improves to 17-6 on the season and is 12-2 in Southeastern Conference play. The Wildcats are now tied atop of the conference standings with four matches remaining. Kentucky will play Florida (12-2) on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in Gainesville in a series that will go a long way towards determining the champion of the league.

[1] WKU Set to Open C-USA Tournament against [8] Middle Tennessee
After clinching the regular season title in a historic night inside Diddle Arena last Thursday, WKU Volleyball is ready to host the 2022 C-USA Volleyball Tournament for the first time since 2017. The top seed, WKU’s opening match of the weekend will come on Friday at 12 p.m. CT against Middle Tennessee, the eighth seed. A single-elimination event, C-USA Tournament action would continue on Saturday for the Hilltoppers with a win as the winner of Friday’s match will face the winner of North Texas and UAB at 12 p.m. CT on day two of the tournament. A win on Saturday would advance the Red and White to Sunday’s championship match, slated for 12 p.m. CT inside Diddle. All C-USA Tournament matches will be available on ESPN+.

Season Ends in NCAA First Round for Cardinals
The 2022 season came to a close for the University of Louisville men’s soccer team on Thursday night with a 2-1 double overtime loss to Western Michigan at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. Louisville ends the season at 9-6-3 overall with the program’s 14th NCAA Tournament appearance and third in John Michael Hayden’s four seasons.

No. 4 Cardinals Set to Host Pitt for Senior Day
The No. 4-ranked University of Louisville volleyball team hosts No. 7-ranked Pittsburgh for an opportunity to improve its chances at a share of the ACC Championship title on Friday at 6 p.m. ET. Six members of the program will be recognized on the court after the match.
